For
The Planet

"The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it."– Robert Swan

There is no denying it; the planet is angry, and if we don’t act quickly, there might not be much of a planet left soon. Our climate is changing around us faster than predicted. From more frequent and severe storms to unprecedented heatwaves, we are experiencing the effects of human-caused global warming. And, since buying a Tesla is not on everyone's shopping list, adapting to a plant-based diet is one of the most impactful ways to reduce your carbon footprint and help the planet. The meat and dairy industry is responsible for a significant amount of greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, and water pollution.

A study conducted by Oxford University in 2023 showed that even the lowest-impact meat, organic pork, is responsible for eight times more climate damage than the highest-impact plant, oilseed.* The biggest difference seen in the study was for emissions of methane, a potent greenhouse gas produced by cattle and sheep, which were 93% lower for vegan diets compared to high-meat diets. Going plant-based may feel like a huge sacrifice, but if you consider the bigger picture, it is perhaps a sacrifice worth making.
